Chinese favorite succulent half Peking duck bone-in, wing-on, no carcass with 12 pancakes and a sachet of hoi sin sauce.
Cooking Instruction
Duck
Method 1 : Pan-fry (recommended) Defrost duck, remove from all packaging then pan-fry for both skin and meat side. Fry until the skin is crispy.
Method 2 : Oven Defrost duck, remove from all packaging then put on the oven tray and place into the pre-heated oven at 200°C/400°F/ Gas mark 6. Place the tray at the middle of the oven, oven for approx 15-20 minutes. (Heating time and temperature may vary depending on oven model)
Pancakes
Method 1: Steaming (recommended) – Bring a pan of water to the boil. Remove the pancakes from all packaging and place onto a plate. Place the pan lid over the pancakes. Steam for approx. 2 minutes.
Method 2 : Microwave – Place the pancakes (in a bag) into the microwave and reheat for approx. 1 minute. (at 600 W) (Heating time may vary depending on microwave model)
Hoisin sauce – Soaking in tempered water Place the sauce (in a bag withoutany opened) in a tempered water. Soak until the sauce is defrosted.
